Adult Education to girls

An adult health education was successfully organized at Uvarsad Kanya Shala with the objective of educating girls students about personal health and hygiene. The seminar was informative, interactive, and well received by both students and staff. Dr. Priyanka Patel, Dentist from New Multispeciality Hospital, Gota, Ahmedabad, addressed the students on the importance of dental care and oral hygiene. She explained correct brushing practices, preventive dental care, and the long-term benefits of maintaining good oral health. The second session was conducted by Dr. Priyanshi, Gynecologist from Advance Hospital, who spoke about gynecological health issues faced by adolescent girls. She provided clear and simple guidance on menstrual health, common gynecological concerns, and gave special emphasis on PCOD, helping students understand its causes, symptoms, and preventive measures. The program was conducted with the full support and cooperation of the school Principal and staff, whose contribution played a vital role in the successful execution of the seminar. The seminar proved to be highly beneficial in creating awareness, encouraging healthy practices, and empowering the students with essential health knowledge.
