As part of the traditional pre-wedding ceremonies of Gujarat, the Maa Matlu ritual was beautifully organized and conducted for all the 9 brides participating in the Divyang / Anaath Samuh Lagnotsav. Maa Matlu is an auspicious and culturally significant ritual in which a pot is filled with traditional shagun items and शुभ सामग्री, symbolizing blessings, prosperity, happiness, and a prosperous married life for the bride. These items are traditionally presented to the bride after the wedding rituals as a token of good fortune and family blessings. The ceremony was carried out with great devotion and enthusiasm by all the club members. Every member actively participated in arranging the ritual materials, preparing the ceremonial pots, and ensuring that each of the 9 brides received the Maa Matlu with love and blessings. The atmosphere of the event was filled with joy, cultural warmth, and emotional blessings for the brides-to-be. The ritual added a beautiful traditional touch to the overall celebration and reflected the club’s commitment towards preserving cultural values while making the occasion memorable for the brides.
