"Vision" Eye Checkup Camp

Vision Service Activity – Eye Check-up Camp Report Under the Vision Service initiative, our club successfully organized a free Eye Check-up Camp at Shiholi Village near Gandhinagar. The camp received an overwhelming response from the local community. A total of 220 individuals underwent eye screening during the program. After examination, 157 spectacles were distributed free of cost to beneficiaries identified with refractive errors, helping them improve their vision and quality of life. Additionally, 14 cataract patients were detected during the screening. All identified patients were referred and safely transported to Shantaben Vishnubhai Patel “Karnavati” Eye Hospital, where arrangements were made for their cataract surgeries. This initiative significantly contributed toward early detection of eye disorders and provided essential eye care services to the rural population. The camp was successfully conducted with the dedicated efforts of our club members and medical professionals, reinforcing our commitment to community vision care and service.
