DG's Key Project "Aatmanirbharta"

On 2nd April, Lions Club of Gandhinagar Femina successfully organized the District Governor’s Key Project “Aatmanirbharta” with the objective of promoting self-reliance among beneficiaries. Under this initiative, a total of 101 kits were distributed to individuals to help them become financially independent. The distribution included 21 sewing machines along with various vocational kits such as welding kits, software kits, and painter kits. The beneficiaries had undergone training at the ITI, and based on their respective fields and skills, appropriate kits were provided to support them in starting their own work and becoming self-reliant. The event was graced by the presence of 1st Vice District Governor Lion L.K. Vaghela and District GLT Coordinator Mamta Rawal, whose encouragement added value to the program. This initiative reflects the club’s strong commitment towards empowering individuals and contributing to sustainable livelihood opportunities.
